Kraft Carrier Award

As one of Kraft Foods top 30 Carriers,Tri-Hi Transportation has received one of Kraft's 3 Carrier of the year awards for service,innovation and flexibility for 2007. We are very honored to receive this award and want to Thank everyone at Kraft for this recognition. Everyone in our organization should be proud of this award. We are looking forward to serve Kraft and all of our customers in the future and want everyone to know that we strive for excellence in the service we provide on every single shipment.

We have installed Auxilary Power Units on our entire fleet. We installed the Thermo King Tri Pac APU and our drivers have given us some very positive feed back.

Kathy Lokemoen Memorial Scholarship

There are two scholarships that will be given to the class of 2008. The recipients of the scholarships will be notified at the end of May 2008. The scholarships will be presented to Merrill graduates and are in memory of our late mother which bares the name of the scholarship. Congratulations to all of the 2008 graduates.

We will soon be testing the new 2010 Cummins engine. This engine will meet the mandated standards of the new emission's, that will take affect January 1, 2010. We have been a test fleet for Cummins on thier 2002 and 2007 engines in the past.

2008 Truck Purchase

We will be taking delivery on trucks that we will be replacing in June through August this year. We also have purchased 46 trailers from Utility with Thermo King refrigeration units

Hours of Service

So far we have our stay on the hours of service. Hopefully this stay sticks for the long term. We are still watching this issue very closely and we all need to make sure our congress people know our opinion. Make sure to call or write your congressman with your views.
